My Work
-
Your culture, identity, family, and community are all part of your story. We will make space for the ways cultural expectations, traditions, values, and experiences of marginalization have shaped your life.
-
I approach therapy with an understanding of how past experiences can shape the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. I prioritize safety, choice, and pacing so you can explore what’s coming up without feeling pressured to share or process anything before you’re ready. (And if you’re ready to jump in, we can do that too!).
-
You are the expert on your life! In our work together, we’ll identify what you want to focus on, explore what’s getting in the way, and find approaches that feel supportive and realistic for you. I’ll offer reflections, tools, and perspectives along the way, while checking-in to make sure therapy stays aligned with your needs and goals.
-
As a person with ADHD I definitely understand the difficulties and nuances that it comes with! In our work together we will explore how your experiences as a neurodiverse person shape your life and how we can offer you support with the proper tools.
-
I believe our relationships can be a meaningful part of the healing process. We’ll explore patterns in how you connect with others, communicate your needs, and navigate conflict, while building a stronger and more trusting relationship with yourself.
-
Your identities are so important, and I want to help create a comfortable container where you can express and/or explore that more.
